Yoga for fertility

Here is a CBS news report from 2011.

The focus of the report is on yoga as a complementary therapy to help fertility. Yet, what is quite interresting is that the report highlights that any activity increasing the mind-body connection will be significant asset to help heal patients who undergo heavy treatment ( ie Fertility, chimotherapy). The idea here is to use yoga on top of conventionnal treatment in order to increase the patient's well-being.

Voici un reportage de CBS news qui date de Mai 2011.

Ce qui est assez interressant ici est que le yoga peut s'avérer une aide incomparable pour augmenter les chances de concevoir un enfant. En effet, comme toute thérapie qui agit sur la relation corps-esprit, le yoga améliore le bien être des patients et les aide à supporter des traitements parfois très pénibles. Le médecin interviewé cite l'infertilité mais aussi les traitements de chimiothérapie . L'idée étant que les yoga et la méditation permettent aux traitements conventionnels d'obtenir de meilleurs résultats et surtout améliorent le bien-être des patients.
